How should I deal with my boyfriend constantly commenting about what I eat around him?

Recently my boyfriend has been putting extra pressure on me to lose weight, so if i eat too big of a portion or even have a bite of anything "bad" he will glare at or scold me. Now when I eat around him I'm on edge because I don't want to eat anything that might bring up the are you really serious about losing weight talk. We've discussed it and he's gotten better but he still will mention or comment on what I'm eating all the time. I am overweight but not morbidly obese, think Kelly Clarkson at her biggest. Do my parents have to do anything to there insurance so I can drive and be insured now that I got my PA Permit?

Anyone out there do competitive dog agility (have some questions)?

I have a female Sheltie who just turned a year and is awesome at agility. This is my first time doing agility with any dog. I've done a lot of AKC obedience though. She is definitely ready to AG-1 for UKC but she still is learning weaving so she can't do AKC yet. What is a good way to practice weaving at home without spending an arm and a leg on equipment? Could I just practice with cones? Also, my instructors are really big on "distance control" (I think that's what it's called) and it is so confusing to me! They have me do front cross-overs and it is so awkward to me (I'm not a very cordinated person to begin with!) but they say it's necessary to learn if I want to go to higher levels with my dog. Right now, my Sheltie barks at me alot when we're running the course. Of course, Shelties DO BARK TONS but they said that she's partially doing that because she's looking for me to instruct her. Does DEP(Delayed Entry Program) actually help get people into shape before they ship off?

If you actually do it. Not sure about USMC, but with Navy, we met once a month on Saturday, but what really helped me is that I got a free membership to the YMCA and was able to go work out every morning. My bro just left for Army boot camp and he did it with them for a few months and it really helped him, but they met once a week and did physical training for about an hour or so. So you do have to apply yourself and it differs from branch to branch, but with the commitment that USMC has, I'd say it would definitely help you out and the training would be pretty good.

Hi, I'm an A level student in Singapore. Anyone knows what it takes to get into the top universities in the United States such as Harvard, MIT, or any other best colleges? I have a desire to get into one of them. At the singapore 6th grade, the standardized nation wide testing decreed I'm part of the top ten percent of the whole batch of students. Unfortunately, my teachers at secondary school failed in their duties, causing me to churn out some disappointing results. At least they were to me. But still better than the average students. I need to get into a top university. My cousin has been very cynical since I got my test results( the one at 6 grade). I think taxing unhealthy foods is not right because it kind of takes away your choices of what to eat. I agree you should sue for bodily injury. I got into a car accident about 12 yrs ago. It was not my fault. I went to the ER and was released with only burns from the air bag. All you can do is keep shopping for a really good deal. The problem I see is that between the both of you, your income to debt ratio is fairly high. But don't be fooled into thinking a co-signer will help you. Plenty of lenders are looking at their debts as well and saying no even if their credit score is excellent. I would suggest looking to find a good used car. Just the same, paying cash for something decent is the best way to go for now. See if there is a relative that wouldn't mind you uming the balance of their loan. What you'll do is keep paying their loan in your name if the lender will allow it. This way you won't have to put any money down & save the $2K. Just a suggestion.

I recently acquired 3 male zebra finches. they were rescued from a neglectful owner. I already have 2 budgies so I agreed to take in the finches. I moved all 3 finches to a temporary cage and cleaned their cage and toys and transferred them back. One of the finches is being ganged up on by the other 2. they pick on him constantly and I'm not sure how to stop it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to convert my pickup to propane gas? Such as where to get the parts.?

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500, 360 engine, and I want to convert it over to propane. I am having trouble in finding the parts, and information on it. I did find one place, but they wanted up to $1200, and that was without the tank. I know I can find a tank anywhere. I just need the parts and info of how to do it. Do Poms or Chis blow their coats in spring?

I have a 1 yr old Pom/Chi whom I thought would end up looking more chi, but now her long hair all around her neck is falling out and there's a wooly soft baby coat underneath, much like when my ferrets blew their coats. This seems to be a pom thing. She does have a double coat, but she could easily p for a particularly lush coated long haired chi. She never shed at all till she started blowing her coat. I absolutely couldn't care less what she ends up looking like-she'll always be the most gorgeous girl in the world to me-but I was just curious-does it sound like she'll end up pom-like after all?

Gym Membership price complaint/dispute?

Just yesterday I purchased a gym (franchise) membership for a 1 time initiation fee of $84 and $15 per month. After completing the paperwork, I go home and look at the brochure I took. Ok, let me start off with some Info. I'm 27F, I weigh about 155 and i'm 5'4. For the past 2 years, I've went back and forth between 152-157 but I cant get past it. I've never had a weight problem til' a couple years ago. Its depressing me and I want to be my old self again. I'm also a full time Nursing Student, but I still have time to eat well and excercise. I need advice on what to eat, what I should do to workout to lose the weight quickly (my problem areas are my legs and stomach..im not fat, but I need to slim up)...how much I should eat. Should I start out with a walk/jog for 45 minutes 5x a week, or do a workout video and if so, which one? What are some good foods to eat? And is there any food programs that are good, atkins, south beach ETC.? I know I sound clueless, but Im tired of not being able to get under 150, its just ridiculous. What is wrong with my newborn son?

My newborn son is a week a 4 days old. I am very worried because he was sleeping good when he was a really new born of course, but now all of a sudden he wont sleep at all. I heard they dont sleep well and that we will be up all night, but i also heard they sleep 16 hours a day? Well anyways, to get to the point, he is eating very very good. But eveytime we put him down when he falls asleep he cries after like 15-20 mins. He sleeps for 20 mins to maybe not even close to an hour and then waks up crying like he's really in pain. I comfort him and sometimes he stops. I called his doctor, and they havent called me back yet. I am just a new mother and very nervous. My husband works full time and bless his heart he stays up with me cause of my staples in my stomach that i am getting removed tomorrow cause i had to have a c-section. I am just very worried about him. And also it seems like all he wants to do is suck. His pacifier and bottle makes him quiet...HELP?!?!!

Science starts with observation.. human observation is limited to human senses... we see, touch, smell, taste or hear... beyond this the total universe is nothing to our bodies.. it s crystal clear that our science is limited to our 5 senses.. there could be instruments that enhance the scope of our senses but still they are derivatives of our senses and also they obviously have to be converted to somethin within our scope if we are to observe them..also our perception pattern is comparative.. we gain knowledge in comparison with another thing.. what something is what something else is not.. our thoughts and our actions all are quantized.. we think our technology is marvelous,., but that is also by our standards.. people are worshiping science these days.. even though they say that they are living by facts.. as far as the limitations of science are concerned, those facts appear to be nothing but faiths and believes for ones who think they are absolute.. in that sense everything becomes a belief... science maybe important for day to day life but there is no reason for people to make science into something that can explain everything... they talk about rationality and open mindedness and yet reject God as unscientific.. but the problem is in science itself ..it is imperfect..

Now that most of the major studios have sold off their properties or downsized theitr operations they film more on location and actually have what are called "location scouts" who do exactly that, scout out locations for filming various scenes. Cheaper to do and they actually make money.

I like this job but other then my bosses slander, i have been working 16 hour shifts constantly and only getting time and a half, when the job outline book says i should be receiving 2 times the pay when over time kicks in, i live in nevada and here if you work over 8 hours a day the rest is over time... i work 2 days at 16 hours, and the 3rd at 8 hours and then back to 16 hours the following days... im 24 years old and this is my first full time job, so im not sure how things work. should i contact Human Resources, and if i do can my boss fire me for saying something? they can fire you for no reason out here, but is it against the law to fire me for this reason, I am exhausted with work i love to work but working this many hours every week is killing me. their has been about 5 people who have quite in the past month or 2 they have found better jobs ect ect. should i report them and after every things done see if anything gets better? or should i just find a new job as soon as possible some place else and quite at this job... should i get what i can from this company and find another job in the process? what do you guys think would be best or what can i do to fix this issue? ect ect any advice?

Pharmacy or Nursing: how do I know which one is for me?

After completing my undergrad degree in Poli Sci, I decided that I really wanted a career in the healthcare field. I did some research and saw that maybe Pharmacy was best for me and have been working at a local pharmacy for over a year now. So far, it's been going well. I also went back to the local CC to finish Science pre-requisites. Not too long ago, I had my first baby and saw firsthand how one nurse can make all the difference. It seems like everyone in my life sciences courses are headed into Nursing and now I'm beginning to question whether I should also. I feel like I've been in school forever and Pharmacy school is another 4 years to add to that. Nursing would only take another 2 years at most and would pay not significantly much more different (at least so I've heard in CA)? Not to mention the loans I will rack up for pharmacy school versus the significantly less amount for nursing. Where do I go from here to make sure I am headed in the right career path? I have a family now and can't afford to do anymore self/career-exploration. Is there anyone out there in either field who can give me some pros and cons? Anyone been in my shoes? Any advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

No. My husband lived and worked alot of his life there. In general if your white from America, Europe or Australasia then you will get impeccable respect. Our daughter will be 3 years old(birthday in Nov.) shortly after this one is born next year(if we conceive) before he deploys, and we wanted our kids 3 years apart. Its harder this time, because you really cared about this guy and really loved him. Also I think it is worse, because you didn't just get mad and break up for a reason, you broke up, still in love with each other, because he is afraid of you guys being together while you are apart. Twinging kidney pains in my left side?

just over a year ago now i felt a really sharp pain in my left side just below the rib cage, it was the most unbearable pain iv ever felt but it went away after a few minutes, ever since then iv been experiencing twinging pains which usually occur when i move in a twisting position or when i, laugh, cough and usually after iv been drinking alchohol although i sometimes feel a dull ache and even shooting pains in that area, its not painfull just really uncomfortable iv been to the doctors 5-6 times now done numerous urine tests and had a blood test and nothing showed up, im gettin a scan soon, but untill then can anyone help me, i do drink at the weekends and feel its down to that and if so what could it be?

Honestly the guys i date sometimes don't talk to me for a week, it doesn't mean that they aren't interested or are even distancing themselves. It usually means that they are genuinly busy or are playing hard to get. Just take it slow and let him come to you, if he loves you like he says he does then you have nothing to worry about. Just keep yourself busy and keep ur mind on something else. You have nothing to worry about if it's only been two days or even a week, if it gets to a month then you might have something to worry about.

How do I get rid of blaster worms?

That is a tricky worm to eliminate, but there are many ways in which to remove the Blaster Worm. I suggest downloading Malwarebytes from Google and booting your computer into safe mode with networking if the worm prevents you from accessing the internet etc in normal mode. To boot your computer in safe mode, press f8 continuously and select safe mode or safe mode with networking. Run a scan to remove the worms. If there is an issue that prevents you from installing the software, I suggest running a clean computer, download Malwarebytes and put it onto a USB and then transfer it over to the infected computer. Another safety precaution would be to download SuperAntiSpyware or a free Antivirus so your computer will not get infected in the near future. Also observe the sites you visit or the email attachments you open to prevent future virus and worm attacks.

Why are so many Americans against gun control?

I understand guns don't kill people, people kill people, but guns make it much easier. You stand a better chance at defending yourself against a knife. Do you think as many m killings could happen where one or two people kill multiple people, if they didn't have guns? The person is making the choice to kill, but they are using the gun, an efficient and effective weapon, to do it. If guns were completely banned, yes there would still be guns out there but a lot fewer, and it would be more difficult for people to get them, resulting in less gun violence. And to get the guns that are already out there the government can do just like Chicago did, and do a period of offering cash for people to turn in guns. The majority of gun related crimes, involve guns that were at one time or another licensed. If there were no more licensed guns, it would be way harder for people to get them. Many people buy guns illegally on the street, but that gun got out on the street somehow. At one point in time that weapon probably was purchased legally. We need to make it so there is no longer a way to purchase a weapon legally. There is no need for citizens to have guns. It is not a means of defense. Cases where people actually successfully defend themselves from a crime with a gun, is so few compared to ones who don't, makes it a joke to call it a means of defense. And guns don't deter criminals from going after people. How many of you actually believe that a rapist would even think twice about whether a woman is carrying a gun before he decides to grab her? If you are afraid of a burglar breaking into your house, use the gun money to get an alarm system. The sound of it going off alone may send the criminal running, mine has and I don't even have it activated to contact the police. As for using guns for sport, what is the purpose of going around and shooting innocent animals for fun? And people in favor of allowing concealed carry just leave me speechless. Just think about the number of people who get killed involving things like road rage. Don't you think a death is much more likely to occur if people are legally allowed to carry guns with them? And all the arguments people get into, spouses caught cheating, if people are just packing guns they are way more likely to pull it out and hurt someone. And people are always saying the constitution says we have the right to keep and bear arms. The constitution was written at a time when things were a lot different. Come on people, at the time it was legal to own another person and beat them like they were an animal. Amendments can be repealed, especially if it is for the greater good like saving lives. So, many laws in this country have been changed. Why? Because society changes over time. At one time segregation, slavery, and discriminating against women were all legal and now their not. What would this country be like now, if everyone just kept saying I can keep making black people sit at the back of the bus because the law says it's okay? Sometimes laws need to be looked at again, just as the second amendment does. The constitution is supposed to protect us. Allowing people to walk around carrying guns is not protection.
