Am I the only one that thinks UGG boots are well...a bit ugly :/?

Okay my birthday was a few days ago and my aunt bought me the famous ugg boots. I feel so guilty for doing this, but I took the receipt and exchanged them for a clier looking boot.(and no I will never tell her.) No doubt they are as comfortable as can be, but when I tried them on, I looked like I was standing in a bucket. I don't mean to offend anyone who has them, but does anyone think their meaning is in their name as well? (ugly=UGG)
