Parents: Would you let your 17-year-old daughter go to a concert?

Your mom is very over-protective and needs to realize your growing up and learn to trust you. I can't believe she makes your older sister call when she gets somewhere. I lived at home all throughout college and out of courtesy I would call my parents to let them know when I was staying out unusually late but they never "made me." You have to respect your parents, but somehow, someday, she's going to have to cut the cord.
