If you're a Montana voter that didn't vote for Conrad Burns in 2006, aren't you an idiot?

It's been announced that there are no allegations and no further investigation needed into an ociation between Conrad Burns and Jack Abramoff. Unless you are ignorant or a political neophyte, it should have been obvious that this was a fabrication from the beginning. Doesn't help poor Conrad Burns - I'm sure he'll be fine without the Senate job - but he gave a lot to the State of Montana, heartily enjoyed his job, and barely lost due to the ignorance of these voters.
