What happens if you get two different dominant genotypes from your parents?

you will also have the dominant genotype as your parents do, but with intermediate characteristics of the two depending on the traits each genes have. example AA (dominant for a certain trait) is crossed With BB(also dominant) you will produced two AB which is in fact a dominant genotype but have intermediate characteristics between the two.
