How much of your freedom are you willing to give up in the name of environmental protection?

I think the government should help make it easier for citizens make more environment healthy choices. I would drive in electric car if they had the solar working properly, solar panels at home if they were cheaper, plant more trees on my property if I got a discount on them, recyle more if I didn't have to do all the work like pick up and drop off. As far as some freedom I would be willing to give up? Maybe, but you would need to be a little more specific. They way it is now, it is a huge hel and expensive for the everyday person to be eco friendly.
