Is there something that kills bacteria for clothes? ?

I have a leather jacket, and the other day my friend's dog was sleeping on it and according to him the dog was also farting on it. I am really picky about animals, i don't like to touch them or let them touch me. So I was wondering is there something like a spray that kills bacteria or things like that? so that I would feel better whenever I wear this jacket, because ever since then i never wore that jacket. We don't have a dry cleaning close to where i live to wash the jacket, so if there is a way i can wash a leather jacket can you tell me about it?
