My boss has cursed at me and worked me to the bone?

I am a security guard and i have worked over 5 months for this company in a ware house.... my boss, recently came to me and cursed at me in front of a supervisor and other coworkers i hadn't said anything to him that day he was very serious at the time. I like this job but other then my bosses slander, i have been working 16 hour shifts constantly and only getting time and a half, when the job outline book says i should be receiving 2 times the pay when over time kicks in, i live in nevada and here if you work over 8 hours a day the rest is over time... i work 2 days at 16 hours, and the 3rd at 8 hours and then back to 16 hours the following days... im 24 years old and this is my first full time job, so im not sure how things work. should i contact Human Resources, and if i do can my boss fire me for saying something? they can fire you for no reason out here, but is it against the law to fire me for this reason, I am exhausted with work i love to work but working this many hours every week is killing me. their has been about 5 people who have quite in the past month or 2 they have found better jobs ect ect. should i report them and after every things done see if anything gets better? or should i just find a new job as soon as possible some place else and quite at this job... should i get what i can from this company and find another job in the process? what do you guys think would be best or what can i do to fix this issue? ect ect any advice?
