No. My husband lived and worked alot of his life there. In general if your white from America, Europe or Australasia then you will get impeccable respect. Its known for the same job, The Saudis and the whites will get the best pay, based on nationality and colour the pay decreases (yes for the same job). Even if your British but from an ethnic group that is not white or Saudi, you won't get the best respect. The root of "terrorist" ideas is from Saudi councils such as that of Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. The double standards are immense, these religious regulations of course do not apply to Saudi Royalty, they dance, drink alcohol, commit adultery and corruption is immense. Employees from Bangladesh must use separate toilets to everyone else, as well as subject to immense exploitation. My husband was a Pharmacist there, immensely hard working, but he always knew if a Saudi wanted his job, the Saudi would get twice the pay and the next day my husband would be sacked. My friend lived there. She was heavily pregnant and using a payphone. The religious police chased her, shouting "you shameless woman, you lowly woman", they said to her husband why are their patterns on her scarf and jilbaab, just because she was making a necessary call and the adhan had just sounded.
