How do you get over someone you gave your whole heart to? He's leaving for the army. He broke up with me, but

Its harder this time, because you really cared about this guy and really loved him. Also I think it is worse, because you didn't just get mad and break up for a reason, you broke up, still in love with each other, because he is afraid of you guys being together while you are apart. He doesnt want you to have to be waiting around for him and he doesn;t know how he is going to change while he is out there. Sounds like it is going to be hard on both of you guys. Im really sorry. I have had a broken heart when I was younger, and it is a horrible pain. There is nothing that makes it better for a while. You should talk to him if you want to,, and see if he is sure that this is what you both want. You should know that, though it is hard to believe now,.. if you guys are not going to be toether, that time does make it easier. You will little by little get over it. Even though you may always care for him and miss him, you will reach a point where you aren't in love with him anymore and will be able to move on with your life. Im sorry, :o(
