Does this sound like asthma?

where there's smoke, there's fire. no, i don't think it's psychosomatic. yes, tell your doctor so if your condition worsens you will have an onset date doented in your medical records in case you have future problems. yes, treat your home to reduce the dust, dust mites, chemical agents and aerosols, etc. be aware of air quality indexes and action days in your city. this will alert you of which pollens are in abundance (i'm uming you've been allergy tested), and high ozone days. also notice if certain foods trigger wheezing. new inhalers are being developed all the time, and i'm on one that doesn't cause your heart to speed up (it's made from soybeans). also singulair (a tablet for allergies & asthma) helps me a lot. you may want to think about a referral to an allergist or a pulmonologist. don't let this slide or ignore it, or you could have an unpleasant episode pop up on you, and you'll kick yourself for ignoring it (when you can get up again, that is).
