Is this a good introduction?

No. Not trying to be mean but it kinda sucks. It's a good idea but the intro itself is bad. There are some grammatical errors and when you're writng in the first person, you want the reader to see it through your eyes, not as if you were telling the reader about it. Hope I helped.
